3" Wide Bench Stones

Hall's uses 100% natural Arkansas stones for knife sharpening stones that are mined from the Novaculite quarries located in the National Ouachita Forest. Hall's carefully cuts to size and skillfully finishes the stones to ensure flatness. All Hall's bench stones are 1" thick x 3" wide, which provides an elevated work surface for ease of use. Novaculite, highly regarded by craftsmen worldwide, has a unique crystal structure which allows it to polish the cutting edge as it sharpens. All Hall's sharpening stones come with a custom wooden box for storage. You should also make sure that you clean and lubricate your stone with honing oil.

We have four different types of stones to choose from:

Soft Arkansas (a medium course stone)

Hard Arkansas (a medium fine stone)

Surgical Black Arkansas (a fine stone)

*Translucent Arkansas (an extra fine stone)
